Nicole hawken
Founder Physiotherapist, Certified Animal Rehab TherapistI'm Nicole, I've been a Physiotherapist for over 15 years and took my first animal rehab course in 2013. The cute four-legged pup next to me is Gracie, my (almost) 15 year old golden retriever and inspiration behind the name and why I love what I do.
I started Goldie's a little over 2 years ago and it's been the absolutely best experience. Animal rehab gives me the opportunity to help pets recover from injury or surgery, improve mobility and focus on ways to maximize quality of life.
Over the last 12 years I've learned that a dog's physical wellness isn't just about genetics or strength, but the quality of all the pieces of their life put together. Small things can make a big difference: learning to move in new ways, how to adapt your home to allow for healthy aging, understanding the importance of pet enrichment and the difference it can make when we act proactively.
I look forward to meeting you!
